Ordered online ordered colour grey and received yellow, very disappointed, return policy??? not my fault but my problem, I would have to pay, not worth it. If you don't have what I ordered don't send just anything. Delivery was fast.

I don't actually know the quality of their shoes, they took 2 full business days to determine they don't actually have the item in supply that we ordered. Customer service email seemed polite, but point of their website is to display the items they have so people can buy them. Will order from different store with actual stock as advertised and not attempt with Walking on a Cloud again.

Do not buy online!!! My local store had no stock so I ordered online. They say you pay return shipping but with COVID and retailers helping consumers with lower or zero shipping costs, I called to ask as I needed to order 2 for sizing and they said they’d send a prepaid return shipping label for return or could take to store for refund. Took agent’s name. Also called my local store and was told the same. Product arrived 3.5 weeks later. I have autoimmune disease, under hospital treatments and can’t go into the store. Ordered 2 sizes of Birkenstocks. Son took one pair back to store and told they’re not connected to online store and couldn’t do refund (but had told me they would?) But again, store rep said prepaid label would be sent and wrote down contact number end email. Took 4 days to reach someone so now I’m close to 5 weeks with 3 weeks left to return. Told I had to pay shipping and to use UPS if I wanted a refund as delays with Canada Post were not their problem (yet I waited patiently 3.5 weeks on their end). I gave name and dates of people I spoke to. Manger said they were all “misinformed”. Took shoes to UPS and they asked what was going on as this was 7th return that week for WOC. Bottom line is I paid $39 for UPS return, making the Birkenstocks I kept $170 plus taxes. I WILL NEVER, EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. I could have ordered from BC independent store with free shipping and returns. OR SHOP SOFTMOC! Fast shipping, free returns or in store returns. They didn’t have the colour of I would have ordered from SoftMoc in the first place. Shame on Walking On A Cloud, especially during Covid! Very disappointed, especially when I called and asked, explained before I ordered.

My local store has very limited stock. Ordered from their website. Wish i had read their return policy first, but who would think any modern online store would not only make you pay for return shipping, but ALSO not allow returns at local stores—the consumer is trapped. Never seen this before. Their shoes are expensive but of good quality, with many having European sizing, so they should absolutely make returns easier! Will not buy from them again.
