I'm Done | by Julie Burton on May 25, 2022
I was informed this morning that they are NEVER bringing back the change rooms. According to the staff member who served me, it has not hurt their sales (yet), and it's easier for THEM - less man hours, less stuff to clean up, etc.. (It does reduce shoplifting, but other stores manage somehow.) The point is, none of this is to benefit the customer. They have only taken something away, and offered us nothing in return. I'm not going back.

Prices are too high for used items and until change rooms are back, I will no longer shop there.
Bring back fitting rooms | by Doreen on Mar 15, 2022
Now that Ontario (and most other provinces) is removing most Covid mandates, it’s time for Value Village to bring the fitting rooms back. Either have fitting rooms or give a refund if clothing doesn’t fit period! They even took away the little stool for people to sit while trying on shoes. NO MORE EXCUSES!
Over priced | by T Wood on Dec 14, 2021
Over priced, over priced a vase sold for $4:00 at value village was bought for $2.00 fr the $ store.Vallue village can help provide.more help in the community for youth instead of paying their executive & director such high salary. Shame on you & all your products are donated. I would not donate or encourage anyone to donate to this store
No Change Rooms?? | by Tracy B on Aug 26, 2021
Whose idea was it to remove the change rooms?? They should be fired! What clothing store doesn't allow people to try on clothes before purchasing. Even better was when an employee suggested I just try it on in the aisle..."that's what everyone is doing now"...wow! Upper management should be ashamed. What is the plan for all that extra square footage??
Change Rooms | by Marion Howell on Jul 30, 2021
Very disappointed that Value Village has rid of the change rooms! I refuse to purchase without trying clothes on first especially since only with an exchange policy. The clothes you receive are donations and sometimes overpriced. Many stores allow to try clothes on now. Until the change rooms are returned I will no longer be shopping there.
Over priced | by Rose on Mar 30, 2021
Their prices are way too high and the quality is crappy I have found many items priced high and have stains or rips. So much for being a thrift store. I volunteer in a non profit thrift store and the prices are half plus much better quality control.
Pawnshop prices | by Joseph on Jan 25, 2021
Stupid prices supposed to be a thrift store not a pawnshop. Over pricing games above what they are worth charging 2 bucks for a vhs everywhere else is 50 cents ,3 or 4 bucks more then the Nintendo ds games are worth, had an empty game case with 12.99 on it and when I asked if I could have it they said no, everywhere else will just give it to you if there is no game in it. Charging 5.99 for 3 worthless comics in a bag . God forbid if any expensive namebrands being sold for almost what they are worth new. Give your heads a shake your a thrift store that gets its merchandise for free.shouldnt be charging pawnshop or retail prices. If 1 could give lower then a 1 I would. And always horrible service.
