My husband and myself visited this location for the 3rd time since moving back to region 3 weeks ago. I got cart while my husband parked and joined me, I entered the store first, disinfected my hands and waited for my husband. I hear a commotion, turn around see my husband stopped at the door being aggressively screamed at by a man who did not resemble an employee from behind, I go to see whats the problem this man name shawn claimed to be a manager owner and shoved my husband, my husband tried to explain i was in the store waiting with a cart, by this point manager gets more aggressive, calling my husband and I quote a Osjawa crack head, told us to go back to oshawa, I got involved and inbetween them to tell him im the wife with the cart, he spit in my face while screaming at me to Fuck off you mental case crackhead, this all coming from so called store manager at this point he threatened to call the police we agreed to wait, store manager continued to call us mental, phyco, swear profanities, we did nothing wrong broke no rules, masks on, there were no employees at entrance when i entered with cart, this do called manager came out of know where and acted like a power tripping lunatic, just a fyi to that man my husband who you verbaly attacked and shoved in fact is disabled, suffered a stroke 2 years ago Dec 17 2018, and a heart attack in february 2020 and is legally retired and proof to show. You were way out of line, the verbal assault, racism, not to mention on someone still recovering from a stroke is disgusting, This matter needs to be addressed you certainly needs some discipline and training. Before moving we are both born and raised in the area, moved away for a few years, not sure how that makes us osjawa crackheads, pretty rude disgusting words and judgment. I plan to let Corporate know Monday morning.
