(1/5) FIRE STORE MANAGER DISRESPECTFUL

Due to my apartment not having a working buzzer, after contacting customer service a supervisor advised me that she will reroute my package to the nearest location, that being 168 Barton Street. They explained to me that it will be sent there and I can contact the location just to confirm it is there before I drive over. After contacting this location, a man with a strong African accent answered. Immediately it seemed as if he was annoyed before I even asked my question. He told me that he doesn't know why customer service would tell me that and he is not gonna give me any information on my package over the phone. I'm not even physically picking it up all I wanted to do was confirm it was there. He said sorry again he doesn't know why they told me that and then hangs up in my ear while I'm taking. Why do you guys have someone employed who is not happy working and giving half decent customer service. He is rude and should not be dealing with customers the way he does. I'd give a 0 star rating and say some worse things but ill leave it there.

Despite the fact that other UPS stores thrive to serve the client, offering advice, tools and help they can to make the visit success, i had a very bad experience with the Store manager at Stoney Creek, Barton street office. I entered the store with an open package, waiting for my tern to reach the counter, get my hands on a tape and envelope to stiuck the shipping labels. The Manager was angry talking on the phone as it seems he has a problem with a client. So I looked around and picked an open tape and started wrapping the box. I admit, i must have made quiet noise, that could increased the manager's bad mood. Evetually after ending his call, and started shouting at me ; Why you used the tape without asking, this is not free. This is stealing. How come you pick stuff from the office and use it without asking. I was embarrassed among other clients, and it this wasn't a Return package to Amazon, i would've left the shop and shout back. I am sorry to say this is a very bad experience, first of its kind in a shipping courier such as UPS where a client is always greeted and welcomed. Other UPS stores and similar companies thrive to offer services to clients not shouting and embarresing as such.. At the end, this happened on 23rd of Dec. , my last words to him before leaving the shop was.. Merry Christmas.. As i am heading back to the same store to send another Amazon Return, i hope i don't face the same behavior again. I'll update this review in next 2 days. Happy New Year UPS ..

***0 STAR STAY AWAY*** I have driven 10 mins as this was the closest location to my house and when i had come in the guy in the front was dealing with a customer. I had a package i had to drop off which he asked if you are dropping off leave it on the side of the table. I had asked if i can get some short of receipt showing i have dropped it off as if it goes missing i have proof the package was dropped off. the guy in the front ended up being the owner name LOUIE OKANDAYE, this guy is so rude and does not know how to deal with customers. He rudely said " I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO SCAN YOUR PACKAGE AS YOU SEE SO MANY HERE AND I BUSY RIGHT NOW YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT" i went back into the line and waited 2 mins which then he told me to come to the front desk again and took my package and said he will scan it but will not give me any proof which he was speaking rudely still. I noticed a business card in the front and noticed he was the owner and told him he will be getting a review. Right after i said that he told me to do what ever i wanted and he will not scan the package anymore and told me to goto another UPS. This is really bad customer service especially from a owner of a Franchise he is representing. I notice this is an on going issue from other reviews and i think UPS should strip the franchise from this guy as he does not know how to respect customer at all. Please stay away from this location, better off going to another location then this one
