Dismissive | by Terry on Aug 14, 2021
In a rush, end of day, spent the day fixin a problem on one of crews equipment. Try to get some help but apparantly I don’t fit profile. Will be sure to take my business elsewhere.

Still haven't received package from staples. Tomorrow is the delivery of the one I bought from Amazon. Pathetic that it will arrive before staples. Look forward to returning it as soon as it arrives. It will be interesting and satisfying to watch the demise of staples. Its already been happening with the rest of them.
VERY RUDE STAFF! | by kayd herriman on Oct 12, 2020
I've done a ton of shopping at staples. Today i went to buy a gaming mouse. I was met by very rude staff members, harrasing me to wear a mask. I politely replied that I can't wear a mask for medical reasons. They continued to harrass me about putting on one of their unsterile medical masks sitting out in the open. Business are not allowed to force people to wear PPE, its against the law! Never shopping there again!

I recently went to the Cochrane Staples to have photos replicated. Marius deserves recognition for his excellent customer service skills. Exceptional, thank you!
Dread dealing with this store again | by Sandra Cushway on Sep 27, 2020
I stopped dealing with Fort St. John, BC Staples many years ago because of their refusal to hold up their end of a deal and an extremely rude manager. I had to buy a printer from them less than a month ago because there was nowhere else I could purchase it. It has already stopped working properly and I am DREADING going back today to deal with the problem. It seems they always want to put the responsibility on someone else.
Worst after sales service. Rude errogant mananger | by R. Zucc on Sep 25, 2020
I purchased a $79.95 Canon scanner in mid April. 4 1/2 months later it stopped working so I brought it back to them and they refused to look at it or even exchange it. They told me I have to go To Canon for any Service. I called canon they did some tests over the phone and told me I needed to take it back to Staples and ask them to plug it in and try it. So I took it back to Staples and they tried to sell me at $220 annual tech support contract before they would plug it in. When I expressed my complete dismay at such response the manager and clerk behind the counter whispered and looked and whispered and looked then came back and talk to me and said we can do it for $60. I told him this was ridiculous because the scanner was only worth $79 and if they find a problem I have to pay to ship it to Canon still. They have no interest in helping you after they’ve got your money. I told them that Canon asked me to come back there and that it only takes five minutes to plug the scanner in install the driver and push a button to see if it works, but they refused to do it and threatened me with being banned from the store if I came back with it again. The manager was extremely rude and arrogant. I will never ever shop in Airdrie Staples store again.
Worst Customer Service Experience! | by Sandy on Jul 23, 2020
They sold me the wrong warranty for my drone and ended up getting ripped off with $99.00 because they didn't want to take responsibility for their mistake. They don't fully explain their coverages and are simply after your money! Now my wife had the same experience with her cellphone! One particular staff is so arrogant and ill mannered and doesn't even know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE. It amazes me to think why STAPLES WHITEHORSE YT hired him?! His name is RODUR
Replacing humans with Kiosk computers and charging you! | by Chimene Olynyk on Jul 21, 2018
I went to this store to get two printed docs from my cell phone. When I arrived I went to the business section and saw a big poster which said "Want to print from your mobile device?" It states that you have to send the doc. to their address which I did. The problem was after doing that it does not say where to go after you have done that. I went to the first kiosk station that I saw which also had a yellow flyer on it giving instructions when you print from your mobile. (So I thought I was at the right place... WRONG!!! As I said I thought I was at the right place and so I read what to do next and it says to insert your credit card, which I did. As I'm sitting there trying to figure out where to put the code which was sent to me by Staples, I can see the charges increasing every minute on the screen (I haven't even done any transactions and the charges keep increasing, WTH??) I finally ask the only busy customer associate and he tells me I'm at the wrong kiosk. (Keep in mind every kiosk station had this little yellow flyer with instructions for printing from your mobile... :-( So now he leads me to the other printer kiosk and it again asks for my credit card. I would have thought the Customer Service Agent would have given me a refund for the first kiosk that charged me on my credit card but no such luck... He just walked off after I told him the kiosk was charging my card and I had't done any transactions. After printing my 2 docs. I got a receipt and on it I noticed I was charged for not only the copies (which I expected) but also RENTAL TIME OF THE MACHINE (which is also the other charges made to my credit card for the first kiosk that I didn't use...) In plain english... Don't put your credit card in until you know exactly how to use the computer/printer kiosk as it charges you per minute. Better than that STAY CLEAR OF THESE KIOSKS!!!... I will be looking elsewhere for my future printing... Not impressed Staples :-(
CUSTOMER SERVICE | by CLINTON on May 28, 2018
I have been a loyal customer for over 2 decades and when pheasible I only buy from there. Recently I purchased a desk top with the no payments no interest for one year and in the following months I received statements with interest chargers. To shorten this review. after 2 visits to get this cleared up and then a third to have it finalized where I was told to come in not later than May 31st and then once there was informed when I said to manager a Tina that she was making it sound like she was doing me a favor and where she then said I am. To sum I cut my card up there and I will no longer EVER shop at Staples and I am encouraging others not to as well and I have a very wide range of friends and acquaintances and so do they. I found the manager arrogant and condescending rude and did not seem to care that I was no longer going to be a customer. It is customers likes me and 1,000s of others who pay her wages and keep the store open. P.S. This was the Kingsway branch in Sudbury Ontario.
