(3/5) Inconsiderate management choices
By Tammy Hansel on Jan 08, 2021
I just left the Osoyoos Shopper’s Drug Mary Store and was very upset with their practice of removing all sales price signage from their shelves 3 hours prior to the store closing. I take my 70 year old mother shopping every 3-4 weeks, as I live a couple hours away and she doesn’t drive. It’s senior’s day and the prices are great at shoppers when they have sales! Today however, all the sales info cards were removed, so we were forced to stand in the aisle with a flyer I found in a basket (only one left in the store) and try to figure out what items were on sale!! My mother always makes lists, but it is very difficult to discern without the advertising cards on the shelves! I spoke with the manager and she claimed that they were doing their best with what staff she had, as trucks had delivered items to restock the shelves and they only had 3 hours to do a lot of work, which I understand. I think it’s very inconsiderate of the senior customers to have to deal with the problems of store management. It’s not fair to them! I think a reconfiguration of these practices is in order.
