I went to Sally’s beauty to pick up some semi-permanent hair dye for my sister and I. When going in I talked to a worker about which options worked best for our hair and the colour we were looking for. I got told that the colour I wanted the arctic fox periwinkle would work with the colour of my hair and I didn’t need to pre lighten my hair. I also got told the blue my sister wanted would not turn green when it faded out in the colour of her hair. When I first applied my colour I thought it would show then after following all the instructions there were little to no purple strands in my hair. When we first applied the blue dye to my sisters hair it worked then after one wash it went green. She is very upset! When I asked the worker if my hair was light enough she said yes and when I asked her if it would turn green in my sisters hair colour she said no both of these pieces of information were extremely wrong!! :(
