For Christmas 2020, I bought two sets of pearl earrings, for myself and my daughter. I wore mine about five times before one pearl just came off the stem. I was told that since I didn't get the extended warranty (really?) and it was six months later, it would be $42.00, almost half the cost of each set, to have them sent off for repair. She said they were a big company which I guess means poor service. No more supporting them!

Update from my last review in Nov 2020. It’s now mid Feb 2021 and still haven’t received my thousand dollars that was to be sent to me months ago. I had my lawyer send a letter to there head office in Texas last month and they still haven’t responded to the status of sending me my money. The store manager in Lethbridge called me today and told me that neither herself or the area manager wouldn’t have anymore conversations with me about my money and when I’d be getting it. It’s like they are just brushing me off and don’t care about there long time customer. It’s not right to be withholding someone else’s money for this long with no explanation. I trusted your store to do the right thing and get my money back into my hands as it doesn’t belong to you. Brushing me off seems to be easier for you, the store manager and the area manager, than doing the right thing.

Ordered 2 weeks ago now and still waiting on that "2 day shipping". Did some investigating and found out it wasnt even sent yet! Just made a shipping label that's it. So now I dont have my gift for the day I needed it. Buy from a local jeweler, they actually care about their customers atleast.

Terrible. I went to the physical store in Oshawa to have a ring resized. The store employees told me to return the ring and reorder it in the correct size. I do this and for two months, and multiple phone calls to their customer service line later, I still do not have my money back, despite the store having their product back. People's Jewellers owes me a significant amount of money, but doesn't seem capable of figuring out their own system so that they can give me the money I am owed. Every time I call I get told to wait a few days and the money will be returned, but I have yet to see any progress with this complaint. Seems like the company just doesn't care that they have essentially stolen from a customer. I no longer have the ring as it was returned to the store and I no longer have my money as they refuse to give it back. Just today I was on the phone for an hour and a half with no resolution. They said they would call me back in 10 minutes, it has now been almost an hour. I doubt I will get a call at all.
