I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the customer services at Qais' No Frills 9920 Airport Road, Brampton, ON, L6S 0C5. After cashing out my items, I had to return to the store to purchase a few more items, and at the same time I picked up few more items that were on special. While I was in the line waiting to pay for my items I noticed that the cashiers were all gathered at the 1 - 12 items register, on reaching the register I was told that I can not purchase the items in my basket because I had already purchased these same items and that I can not come back into the store to purchase more of the items. I find this highly discriminatory. Furthermore, there were no signs or notices of there being a limit on specials and yet still I was being told at the time that there is a limit. When I asked why wasn't there a notice of a limit posted near the item the cashier totally ignored me, took my items out of my basket and put them to the side. I then asked the cashier if she would appreciated being treated in the same way she just treated me, she replied "no." As a person from a minority community that has been discriminated against, it is evident that such discrimination continues despite the awareness that this is an injustice against persons of colour. I feel that as a black woman in the community that No Frills has failed to recognise and change their treatment of persons of colour. This matter deserves your most urgent attention.
