Purchased PC Cheesecake on June 9/2021. Upon opening package the cheesecake is grey. I checked the best before date and it’s December 2020. How the hell does this happen? I will return for a refund I’m sure but have better things to do than go to Loblaws Pickering again. Not the first time this has happened and considering that the prices there certainly exceed many other stores I expect better.

Loblaws at 1792 Liverpool Road, Pickering Ontario. Over the last 3 years, I have purchased several products that have expired before the expiration date. Just recently I bought a block of PC Extra Old White Cheddar Cheese with an expiration date of Oct 31, 2021. It turned blue in days, along with the Organic Meadow Whipping Cream which was all hardened on the inside of the container. Also products on display with expiration dates that already passed, for example, black label blueberry jam, that was a few months ago. Tonight a supervisor said I could return the cheese and the cream, there in my garbage now I'm tired of returning products to this store. On one occasion I returned some tomatoes to the produce dept., a friend of mine who works there brought it to the attention of a young lady who was a manager. Doesn't look like anything has changed. One other note this store sells too much produce from China and Mexico which are known not to have good practices for agriculture.
