Purchased amaryllis plant for Christmas gift. It started to grow about 2 inches & a bloom opened shortly thereafter. Dwarfed & hidious looking. Unique - disappointing as it was to be a challenge to see who would have the better plant - not the one from Kent! I could send a picture if you'd like.
