Dec 18/20 while shopping at the Langley Dollarama, at 203rd and Fraser Hwy, where I shop frequently, I had purchased several items. Upon paying, the cashier & myself were chatting, it was very busy and christmas spirit was in the air. When I arrived at home, I noticed my mini jars I purchased were not in the bag, Not a big deal, I'll take my receipt back and recover my items. I first talked with one kind older lady about the mishap, she said "go grab more of your items from the shelf". When I took up my products, she said she just had to get the manager to come sign off on this transaction. What a nasty turn of events from this young lady named Emily. She actually had the indecency to look at me up & down and says " oh you were in here earlier and tried the same thing". As I had now idea what blah, blah, blah she was muttering, she continues to say " you had on same coat and same hat". Emily seems to think that I was one of the shady, druggies that hang outside the store regularly. Absolutely appalled at this young lady's attitude. Whether management, or team leader or even store associate....you DO NOT stereotype customers. Shame on you for talking to a customer the way you did to me. And shame on you for being disrespectful to a customer who is spending their money at Dollarama, we pay your paycheck young lady. As I said to Emily at the counter....you will never thrive in the business world if you continue with that behavior. She was insulting and her lack of character in a young girl is embarrassing (to herself).
