Tough on exchange policy | by Steve on May 02, 2023
I bought iPhone charge cables (3) and opened one and it had lightning plug but not computer plug for my charge block…I went right back to the clerk that sold them to me with receipt within 5 minutes and they said no refund or exchange….first time this has happened to me at dollar store…be careful…I’ll stick with amazon….their cables are half of dollar store new price anyway!!
Unfriendly | by CarolAnne on Jun 26, 2021
I have shopped Dollarama for many years. Today will be my last. With COVID going the store today was packed couldn’t get up and down the isles. No one counting customers at the door. Pick up my couple things I went in for. Cashier was rude and very unfriendly. I came to the cash saw she was wiping the counter and held my belongings that I was to purchase. She very rudely said I am not ready for you go to the line. I will not be returning.
Terrible | by Chrystal on Jun 19, 2021
Prices wrong on product labels/ they mark up products at till. False advertising. Poor support of staff. Awful experience going in there today and decided to walk out rather then be tricked into paying more then what everything was labelled as.
What is the point. | by Marg Goyete on Apr 02, 2021
Explain to me why the Dollarama on Sidney St on Belleville ON is the only store demanding postal codes at the checkout after they ring in your purchase saying the HPE Health unit is demanding they do it?. Shopped at 5 stores in 2 hours and they were the only ones to ask. Funny enough the Dollarama was told no such thing in Trenton and they are both in the same health unit region. Asking for a postal code is rediculous given the fact that you could just memorize any postal code in Belleville to give them. NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN
Worst customer service | by Susan Mantha on Jan 29, 2021
In the store l saw bernardin canning lids for 1$ and 2$. I went to the counter to see what it rang up as. It was 2.50. The clerk came back with me to verify. He asked an older women what the aolution was. The 1 $ price was wrong.l asked for 1 at that price she said ' yes'.lWe read the other price sticker, that CLEARLY said the description of the lids at 2$. The older lady then changed her mind and said..' look ..do you want me to arrange the whole store?. I askedher for the price marked... she said...NO..putting her hands on her hips.. she said the price is what the till said. Had this womens attitude been different.. l would have bought them ALL.. l had half of what was there in my cart already... l waljed out not buying anything... their loss of well over 125.00 order... l will never go back.
Not respecting exemptions | by Donna on Jan 24, 2021
Dollarama in Hanover Ontario is not respecting mask exemptions and told a 9 month pregnant woman she had to leave the store without allowing her to purchase the items in her cart.

My Concerns | by Peggy Finch on Oct 20, 2020
I shop at the Yonge St. location in Barrie and think that the customer service and prices are great. My concern is hearing that the stores are going to self-serve. I am a senior and am not in favour of self serve!!! Please reconsider.
respectful staff | by LynneJ on Sep 30, 2020
I am a regular Dollarama shopper, and have always liked the Kingsville store.Due to health issues I cannot wear a mask and have encountered unpleasant situations in some stores, but not here; big thanks to the staff for respecting the exemptions and I am happy to continue shopping here
Dollarama, Canada | by Essasenior on Mar 28, 2019
I've shopped at Dollarama for several years. The original concept was buying everyday items for one or two dollars which was greatly appreciated. The introduction of accepting Visa last year was much welcomed. However, in the past couple of years the prices have gradually gone up, no longer making it a $1 or $2 store. If Dollarama is concerned about quarterly sales perhaps it should reconsider increasing prices to entice past customers back.
