This store is just amazing. During this Covid time, as a senior, I have been ordering my groceries etc. through Curbside Pick-up. I email my order before noon on any day (except Sunday) and the employees put my order together and when I arrive at the loading area they put the groceries into the trunk of my car. No contact. I pay over the phone using my Visa card. The fresh produce has been chosen carefully and I've never had a problem. Every order has been done really well. KUDOS to the staff for an excellent job, well done and with a smile on their faces. Thanks for keeping us safe!
(3/5) Disappointing experience
By Kathi Mcdougall on Sep 03, 2020
Very recently, I drove to Ft Q from my home near Lebret to get groceries. Upon arriving at the store I realized I’d forgotten my credit card at home so I had no way of paying for my groceries. I went into the store and approached a staff member who was in the office. I explained my situation and asked if I could charge my groceries and pay for them once I got home. The answer was a flat out “no.” She just said we can’t do that. I explained I’ve lived and shopped in the community since 1988 and have shopped in the coop since they opened in 2004. The staff member made light of my request and seemed to think the request was funny. She never asked for my name, coop number or anything. She offered no apology. I was really disappointed in her attitude and her dismissive demeanour. I’ve been reluctant to make a complaint, but I think this kind of staff conduct should be addressed. The staff member made no effort whatsoever to alleviate my concern and displayed no level of sincerity. I think if she had checked my coop #, she’d have confirmed that I have been a loyal customer for many years.
