 (1/5) The worse furniture shopping experience

I went to the store and made the purchase for new beds and mattresses on Dec.9th. I was informed by the sales person Liza that they would be able to adjust the price if any items are on sale during the holiday times. Then a few days later I found out that the price of the Ellerby mattress that I bought has drastically dropped for around 200 dollars each (I bought two). Due to the Covid, the stores were closed and I had to contact the guest care instead. The guest care told me that they have informed the store yet no one had contacted me. I understand that, due to the holiday and the Covid situation, the responding time could be long. However, 10 days later, still no response. Today, I called the guest care again, then was informed that they couldn't do the price adjustment cuz it's "boxing day price" even I called before the boxing day (and this is from a guest care agent, saying the store informed her that they have reached out to me, which never happened). After the guest care agent simply hung up on me, I tried to reach to someone else on the live chat. A person named Eric told me that he informed his manager then ended the chat without my consent, manifesting quite poor customer service and a lack of patience. I did receive the phone call, later that day, from Noor Kadhim who indicated that he's from the store (even though in the beginning he told me he could not do price adjustment because he's not from the store and I had to wait until March). After constantly self-contradicting, he became very condescending and impatient. Needless to say I was never properly informed by the sales person about "no price adjustment for boxing day price",though there was no indication on the product page that the price drop is boxing day price, I was told that "boxing day sale started early so what you saw was all boxing day price". When I requested the proof, since I suspected that he just made up an excuse to refuse the price adjustment, he sent me a random flyer without the name of the company or the store. The whole situation has been handled unprofessionally and lacks the basic integrity and trust. At the end of the day, it will be the customers who have to pay for the unprofessional conducts of Ashley's stuffs. It is not even sufficient to say that my experience with Ashley and this store is beyond disappointing. I suggest that,for anyone who's looking furniture and appliances for their new homes, you should take your business somewhere else since you don't want to be treated unfairly and carelessly, receiving nothing but distrust and mean attitude.
