This was a great place. They seemed to understand my home situation and tried to work with me to make appointments for personal training. But I was unable to keep or make appointments, even doing them virtually. I was losing money every month as I was paying but unable to make the appointments. Therefore I decided to cancel the membership. That is when I was hit with Danny Barker advising that he would be nice and let me out of the year contract. BUT then I was charged a buy out amount, nearly 400 dollars, as well as paying for another 60 days of personal training. Then the gym portion 60 days of paying the biweekly gum charge as well as 50 dollars as penalty for cancelling. Total cost of over 2000 dollars. I understand all the charges BUT what happened to some compassion for a person stuck between a rock and hard place. Everyone involved knew I had joined due to depression, to try and relieve some of the symptoms, which I am not saying it didn't help, but due to home life my depression got much worse. My mother is dying of dementia. I can not make appointments due to her dementia, never knowing her mood changes. Doing class via zoom confused and upset her with a male voice in the house. This was clearly know by my personal trainer. Where is human compassion. GONE. I am upset greatly by this.
