Lawson Heights is an indoor one floor shopping centre, which is located in Primrose Drive, Saskatoon. The location is within the Lawson Suburban Development area (West side) and the neighbourhood of Lawson Heights is bounded to the north by Lenore Drive. Primrose Drive is to the west, it is basically shape of triangular.
The name of the mall comes from Reverend Stephen George Lawson who homesteated in the are. The construction of the mall began in the late 1970s and was completed by the end of 1980s. In that time it was home to Zellers, Safeway and sixty-five retail stores including Saskatchewan’s first food court. Lawson Heights was renovated and extended in 1990 by adding 30 additional stores and moving the food court. In 2014 the mall was renovated exterior and interior. Lawson Heights mall is a home of the most unique independent and national retailers in Saskatoon. Many of stores are exklusive to Lawson Heights such as Thyme Maternity, Change Lingerie, Believe Fit, Vivah Jewellery, Peppers Kitchen, Stokes Kitchen, Eclipse, Maurices and Laura ladies wear. Lawson Heights is managed by Morguard, which is a real estate company. The mall is serviced by City Transit Bus Routes Sasktoon Transit.
