GNC has good product selection but the staff acts like they know more than you and your doctor. Most people looking for a supplement do not go into a supplement store blind. They do their research and know what they want. I was aggressively judged time and time again and pushed in different directions by the staff. I would suggest a friendly hello and maybe ask if there is anything you can help me find but I don't need to tell you why I am looking for a certain product and if I say I'm not up to anything, I don't expect to be pushed into saying anything else. When you have a degree in studying the human body and exercise physiology, it's very frustrating to be bombarded and aggressively debated at a store when you just want to make a purchase.
