Just came from the imperial westmount square boutique where a 70% promotion was advertised and in addition while entering the store an additional 10% on the 70% discount was offered as today”s promotion ( 19/02/2010). After choosing a few items to buy under this condition ( and with the price labeled on the merchandise with the discount) I de used to buy the animal print cargo pant. To my surprise at the cashier the vendor said OhOh it’s a different price and called the manager who with no cerimony tapes a few number codes in the computer and informed this is not animate the promotion. It is now only 30% and in front of me again with no more talks they started to remove the ticket price from the pants... and that’s it. I clearly said that his was in break to the consumer code and other regulations such as the competition act and they just. Ignored me. HORRIBLE! Unnaceptabke! I went back to the web and on their site the pants are still under the 70% discount ( although T not giving the additional 10% Lye’s to me upon arriving at the store! I am now talking to the relevant consumer rights authorities through my lawyers as this is not acceptable in any shape or form. Sad. I had a good impression and used to shop frequently at the store.they definitely need new management!
