Carrefour de l'Estrie is an enclosed super regional shoping center with a total floor area of 1.2 million square feet in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. The center is located at the junction of Highway 410 and Portland Boulevard and is the largest shopping centre in Quebec’s Eastern Townships region. The construction of Sherbooke's Carrefour de l'Estrie began in 1972 and opened officially on October 8th, 1973. In 1985, the shopping center expanded with the addition of a food court and a new wing with two-story Zellers outlet. A fully renovated food court has been added to the wide range of retailers in 2013. Ivanhoé Cambridge and OIRPC owns Carrefour de l'Estrie and the property is managed by Ivanhoé Cambridge since 2013.
Carrefour de l’Estrie houses nearly 200 retail stores, employs 2,500 people and attracts 150,000 visitors per week, which means almost 7 million visitors per year. The center is anchored by Bureau en Gros, Future Shop, H&M, La Baie, Rona, Sears, Sears Décor, Simons, Sports Experts, Super C, Toys R Us, Urban Planet and Winners.
