I was out at Winners last night with my wife for some shopping. Once I got to the cash register the bad experience started. I handed out a 100 dollars bill, the old model. Anywhere else I paid with big bills the person just passed a marker on the bill, checked it in the light and that was it. Not here ... it was like they have never seen one before. 3 employees looked at it for minutes and decided to call the manager to check it. After an embarrassing 15 minutes of waiting in line for the manager to come, he finally decided to show up, took a marker and passed it on the bill and what a wonder: it's a good one. I asked him if he was the only one qualified to pass a marker on the 100$ bill to check it and he said yes, "only management" can do it. Well, I guess he is very proud of himself, the test he had to pass to be "qualified" for this operation must have been veeeeery difficult! Hold on tight on that marker Mr. Manager, you are so qualified to do it! As for me, I guess that was the last time I am going to Winners in Fairview!
