Last week was my first but also my last time coming to that store. I had a horrible experience at the meat department. The counter was served by 2 employees : one of them claimed he is the meat manager and both talk to customers like thugs . They refused to do the cut I wanted . The reason being they are stuck with lots of crappy meat (with lots of fat) and want customers to buy them first before cutting new meat even though they are on display to attract people !!! Pure false advertising ! That’s not North American way ! Their staff need to be trained to be more professional and POLITE. !

Great selection of product, fruits and veggies are fresh. Only down side the Staff was not very friendly no smile or Hi , two employees did not understand or spoke French or English at the food counter and did not understand our request foe bubble tea.

If you are looking for authentic Asian products and produce, then Marché Lian Tai is the place to go. Newly opened in October 2018, this "marché" offers a wide variety of meat, fruits and vegetables, baked goods in their onsite bakery, fresh fish, take-out counter and all the sauces, noodles, rice and Asian products you can think of. I was impressed with the lighting and cleanliness of the place. Also, the shelves and stocked and well organized. Service was quick at the meat and fish counters. Prices were very reasonable for many products (sauces, noodles, seafoods) and I like the fact you can buy bulk at a better price if you choose. I found the service friendly and efficient and I liked the fact that staff tried to answer my questions as best as possible. I spoke to at least 3 fully trilingual workers! Try to avoid the weekend rush if possible - it was packed with people! And brings lots of grocery bags - your list of needs will grow while touring the store.
