I bought a pearl necklace from Mozart for my wife and she didn’t like it. They refused to refund it which is ridicilous. Terrible customer service. I will never buy anything from them in the future.

A week ago, as a Christmas gift for my wife, I bought at Mozart in Le Carefour Laval a good quality bracelet that I paid $803. But some days after, in a conversation with my wife, she mentioned to me not wishing to receive any jewel for Christmas as she rarely wears expensive jewel. Disappointed, I returned to Mozart Jewelry with the bracelet and the receipt for a refund. The manager refused categorically to refund me. Although it is written at the bottom of the receipt given at the end of the transaction only, at the time of the transaction, nobody informed me of this policy of “no refund”. No guarantee or replacement statement is written on the receipt. Nobody informed me of this policy of “no refund”. When I tried to return the bracelet, the manager claim falsely that none of the jewelry offer a refund. I discovered at Birks at the Carefour Laval offer a refund up to thirty days upon presentation of the bill and the jewel. I would like to know how I could have a refund of an expensive good that will disappoint the person that will receive it if I cannot get my money back.

Il y a une semaine, comme cadeau de Noël, j’ai acheté à la bijouterie Mozart du Carefour Laval un bracelet pour ma femme. Le bracelet payé 803 $ semble de bonne qualité. Mais voilà qu’au cours d’une conversation, ma femme m’a déclaré ne pas vouloir recevoir de bijou comme cadeau de Noël puisqu’elle ne porte que rarement des bijoux trop couteux. Déçu, je suis donc retourné à la bijouterie avec le bijou et le reçu pour avoir un remboursement. Ce remboursement m’a été catégoriquement refusé à deux reprises. Lors de l’achat, on ne m’a jamais mentionné qu’il n’y avait pas de remboursement possible. Aucun papier de garantie ou de politique de remboursement ou de remplacement n’accompagne le reçu d’achat. Aucune de ces politiques n’est affichées dans le magasin. Lors de ma tentative de retour, on m’a même affirmé qu’aucun bijoutier ne remboursait l’achat d’un bijou. Ce qui est faux puisque chez Birks, au Carefour Laval, on offre un remboursement dans les trente jours suivant l’achat d’un bien sur présentation du bien et de la facture. J’aimerais savoir comment je pourrais recevoir un remboursement d’un bien couteux, acheté sans garantie du marchand qui ne servira, le cas échéant, qu’à décevoir celle qui va le recevoir.
