Took my mint gold Gucci watch to have battery changed. Tells me to walk around the mall and come back in half an hour. Come back, he tells me watch is broken and needs a 250 dollar repair but I can happily pick it up in a week. I tell him I don’t want it repaired and bring it to a different place to have battery changed. Battery gets changed and technician tells me watch is not only not broken, it’s the most mint condition watch he’s ever changed a battery on. I used to work at woodbine mine and my experience was not isolated.
