I bought a remote controlled helicopter (59.95)for my 5 year old grandson's birthday in November; the young man said if I pay in cash there is no tax. I handed over 60.00 and asked about return if any problem and was assured it could be exchanged/returned. Lo and behold when we opened the package, the remote was damaged, a rotor blade was missing-apparently it was a returned item that was repackaged for sale. I left for Florida the next morning and told my son I would take it back when I return in January. I took the product back 01.24.2016 and they refused to acknowledge the sale bc there was no receipt, and they claimed that their manufacturer does not sell bad products! I did not leave my home in Florida to come here to cheat anyone! This store is dishonest and they rip off the province by not collecting taxes. They need to be investigated and jailed. Make sure you check the product before leaving, get a receipt and pay the taxes.... they ask you for cash. Be wise...use a CC and charge back if they pull that kind of stunt. Dishonest people...give their kind a bad rep. Personally I would never patronize businesses run by those kinds of people anymore.
