Ridiculous service fee. I have been with Softron for the last 2 years in Ottawa with fee for 60 plus dollar and this is the first time I was charged for 242.68 to file 3 of T4, 1 of T5, 1 sick kids donation and 20 weekly metro passes and I carry big credit from tuition fee because I'm an international students. Even though different people have different circumstances, and the answer they gave me was the fee is MAINLY based on how many credits I'm carrying, why did I have to pay 4 times the fee than my friend who carry same huge amount of credit and he's also an international students, we both filed at Softron? When calling the 877 phone number on the website to ask about the fee again the guy told me it can be LIVING COST different between cities and asked me to compare the rent between Ottawa and Toronto. Unlike other tax clinic when they submit efile when you are still in the clinic and show you that CRA receive your files, Softron takes at least 2 days to do that. Bad service for too much money. Certainly I will never file my tax at any of Softron clinic in the future. You lost a loyal customer. Extremely disappointed.
