Car inspection scam | by Ramin on Jan 28, 2022
Dot go there for car inspection. Their so called discount for car inspection certificate is a trap.
Sworn at by Manager Radi | by Shaken an on Sep 03, 2021
I returned an item that I bought 4 days ago at another location at 8.30pm tonight. I have a valid receipt that they were unable to scan for some reason. Radi swore at me and CS rep Patricia accused me of theft. They refused to take the item and forced me to leave the store with it, even though it is huge and I have back issues. . I have a witness of the entire incident.

Garden center rip off | by Stacey on May 08, 2021
Check to see the cost and the price tag up, because they purposely put a lower price tag and then refuse to honour the price they wrote.
Great Service by Shawn @ Auto Service Key Cutting | by Stephen on Jun 21, 2020
I've had bad service at this Cdn. Tire location before at the customer service desk. Been going to this Cdn. Tire of and on for 15 + years. However, I was pleasantly surprised, recently when dealing with Shawn in their auto service. I had a bike lock key that I hadn't been able to get cut at the key kiosk at the same Cdn. Tire location years earlier. In any case, the black plastic casing on the key broke so it no longer fit on the key ring and so I thought I'd try one last time. During the pandemic, it seems CT moved key cutting to Automotive. I went there and Shawn spent a good 5 minutes looking and looking for a master that might fit. The other employees hadn't done this before. He cut a key, allowed me to go try it on my bike lock outside the store (without paying) and it worked. I asked him to make one more. This time, the master was too thick. The bottom line is he tried and tried in between serving other customers and finally, I had two duplicates that more or less worked after I'd given up hope of being able to get duplicates for that particular key. I was super impressed. Give this guy a raise and hire more people like him. That's how you get customer loyalty and keep people coming back: good, old-fashioned service.
Do not buy your Skate shoes in this CANADIAN TIRE location | by Armin on Oct 24, 2018
Do not buy your Skate shoes in this CANADIAN TIRE location because they charge you for the first sharpening which is free in the other nearby CANADIAN TIRE locations.
Discriminatory comment/attitude against coloured people | by Wunmi on Aug 04, 2017
This is what I just went through at Canadian Tire few minutes ago I was at Centerpoint store to purchase charcoal and picnic tables for my kid's picnic.About 2:45 pm today August 3, 2017 @ Yonge and Steeles Canadian Tire (Centre Point Mall) I walked in with my kids to make a purchase and about 3 minutes after, the light went off while we were going to pick up the table @ #87 . Coincidentally a minute before the light went off, I was telling my kids to stand still where we were but they said people are walking around and why should they standstill? I told them why it is important to do so because of their colour. Minutes after, one of the staff came toward us, passed a guy and the lady who were Asian descent, he said nothing to them but came to us and told us to move to the cash because there's no light. I asked if he had informed the guys behind us and he responded he was going to; I asked why he didn't do that before coming to us but there was no response to my my question.? ??? I was pissed offThis is what we all have to go through as Africans???

I went to return an unopened GPS at Centerpoint Canadian Tire bought in December. I was told that if the package was unopened I have 90 days to return. At the return dept I was told I only have 14 days so the item can't be returned or I can take the upgrade. I repeteadly told the attendant and the manager that is not I was told when the item was purchased. They told me the answer was no. This Canadian Tire should train it's employees so all have the same information.
