Horrible Customer Service | by Andrew on Jan 21, 2022
The girl (not hooded) at the customer service was so horrible and unprofessional. I wish the Customer Service could be more pleasant even if it means a 'No" as the girl at around 6.30 pm on 20 Jan 22 (not the girl with covered head) looks like a Philipino was cruel and ill mannered and even said ' Your request is DENIED' - seems she is in a Court and not a Store. She was short and fair complexion, but having a horrible attitude.
Refusal to accept legitimate return with receipt | by Lynn Dzebo on Dec 01, 2021
Rude and unjustified refusal to accept return on an item which was not used, but rather tried on for size and returned in the original package without a trace of being used! I have never been hassled in such manner in any store, and would hope that customer relations improve at Cedarbrae location
Complaint | by No on Oct 09, 2021
CT stores refuse to honour lifetime warrantys on car battery. Refuse to give free battery, wants more $$$, an no warranty. CT complaints line lie to customer on offers to resolve complaint. Don't care about customers, mgrs are rude Refuse to honour warrantys.
Will NEVER shop in this store again!! | by Nan on Nov 02, 2020
I will NEVER shop in the Canadian Tire store in Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough again. I went into the store with a product that was purchased in the wrong colour. Unfortunetly I did not have the receipt. I went to customer service and asked if I could exchange it for the correct colour. I was told if it was available I could exchange it. When I returned to customer service I was told it would cost me another $30+tax. They were using the last sale price of the product to 'return' and charging me full price to re-purchase. The customer service rep called a manager. I was told they were 'doing me a favour' by allowing me to exchange the product and there was nothing they could do. When I challenged the manager she said that she 'didn't care about the customer'. Interesting attitude for the manager of customer service!! I will NEVER shop in this store again. Happily there are lots of other Canadian Tire store to shop in.
Horrible unprofessional staff | by sMiley Power on Jun 08, 2020
I went to 2 Canadian tire locations and a princess auto location to buy nitrile gloves to work on my vehicle for which I spent $980 on a set of shocks. When I got to this location I asked the store employee CSR and the teenager who was working was respectful, polite and said he’ll check the back. I gave him a few minutes and he came back with the gloves. All good so far. When I made it to the cashier, the cashier said we can do price match at customer service department but not at the cashier. Very interesting, I agreed and proceeded towards the customer service counter. I walked passed the exit door, clearly not exiting the store and this women starts screaming that I’m stealing $20 gloves that I clearly communicated with the employee I’m going to customer service for a price match and to pay for my item. I pulled out my camera and started recording soon after she started yelling that I stole. However, two employees also hit my hand while I was recording and caused damage to my $2000 iPhone which had no screen protector or case. I have contacted canadian tire and jelly did not do anything and told me to contact the store. I need my phone to be replaced by Canadian Tire and will take them to small claims court with the video evidence of the store employee getting upset that I was recording her for being unprofessional. There was no reason for an employee to touch a customer or lay even the slightest of her fingers on a customer. Let alone she hit my phone out of my hand. I have found the information of the directors OC Canadian tire and will send them the details.

Service department poor | by Mike on Nov 20, 2018
On Nov. 20-18 I went to the Canadian Tire store at Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough to get my vehicle tires rotated. They told me they didn’t take appointments and it is on a first-come, first-served basis, so I came at 7:30 a.m. when their service department opens. I was told there was only one car ahead of me in line. But 2.5 hours later, after many cars had come and gone, they still hadn’t brought mine in. I asked the store manager for an explanation and he said I had to wait. Finally, at 10 a.m. I asked for my keys back. They had trouble finding them. Very poor service.
