Always question any clinic that pushes surgery as the first option. Not only did the doctor recommend surgery, the staff at the counter tried to push us to book an appt for surgery and sign all the forms today, and if we change our minds we can always cancel. I have never heard of that approach at a clinic. Turns out it was nothing and had I chosen surgery, it would have been unnecessary. Trust your instinct and always get a second opinion
