Poor Customer Service - Rude Nasty Cashier at METRO - UNACCEPTABLE ! | by Peter Pigott on Apr 06, 2019
Have been coming to this Metro for more than 10 years. This evening I witnessed what I never thought I would. There were only 3 cashes open - this on a busy Friday evening ? After waiting in line my wife and I loaded our groceries on the counter. As soon as we had finished the cashier looks at us and says "We're closed" and turns off the light and walks away ! We have to put everything back in the cart and find another cash. There were 8 people at the nearest cash. When I remarked to her that this wouldn't happen at Loblaws.her reply was "Then go to Loblaws." She ignored my request to speak to the manager. I phoned the manager when I got home . He said this was unacceptable and apologised. For Metro to employ a rude, nasty cashier is beneath them. Maybe I will take her advice and go to Loblaws. Certainly do not need such behaviour at Metro.
