I am happy that the Ontario Breast Screening Program has opened other facilities to ensure patients receive prompt care. The procedure was uncomfortable, but I am reassured that every portion of tissue was visualized. See you next time!

I have been to Hampton Park for mammograms many times since 2011 since I had a mastectomy. I had never had a problem, as a matter of fact, I always ask for an appointment there. The staff has always been extra nice and very helpful. Please do not believe all the negative comments!

I went there on May and I was not happy at all. The technician asked me all kinds of questions which I did not feel comfortable in asking which I was not asked at the Ottawa General and Breast Health Centre. She squeezed my breast too hard and I still feel pain of today. She said that I took a medium size gown when I take a small. I do not want to go back again. Maybe I should just talk to my physician to get double mastectomy.

I had a mammogram yesterday and during the procedure, my left breast felt more pain than normal. It hurt underneath at the base of the breast. I asked the tech if there was anything there and she said it was red. It was stinging a lot. I had 2 more scans on that breast. When I returned home, I checked myself and the skin was split about 5” long. This morning it is angry looking and I can’t wear a bra. Not happy.
