I had to deposit some money into the Scotiabank ATM, so that meant taking the bus from Bayshore to Carlingwood. Unfortunately, I arrived only minutes past 3 pm on Sunday, only to find all entry points to the mall's Scotiabank to be locked out. I was also surprised to find that the access to a separate Scotiabank ATM from the back of the mall appears to have been removed. This also affects anyone who might need to use the CIBC ATM, as well as (last I checked) the separate bank's ATM that's in between the two sets of entrances, in between the one door for mall access and Loblaws. Since this was a pressing matter for me (condo fees due out of my Scotiabank account tomorrow morning), the unavailability to ATMs at a little after 3 in the afternoon meant yet another bus trip, to access a Scotiabank ATM at a different location. And this, to me, makes no sense.
