Horrible sales man | by John on Jun 22, 2020
My wife and I were in the store yesterday to look for a bathroom vanity. As soon as we entered the store, the person at the desk pointed to the hand sanitizer and said,"use the hand sanitizer".No politeness,no smile. We had our masks on.We walked around the store.Did not get any service what do ever.At first I thought it might be because if the pandemic , sales persons are required to leave their desks, but then he did follow us for a while.Didnt ask us anything though. My wife wanted to purchase a small trash can.I asked him if they had another piece that was not the floor model. His reply,"No,what is there you can buy. That us how we get it" Needless to say,we walked out if there. At a time when you see a multitude of stores closing,my suggestion is if you want people to visit your store, the least you can do is have staff that are pleasent. As consumers,we want to keep our economy going.I know a small purchase like a $50 trash can is not going to make or break your store, but if you have a person with the kind of attitude that this person had,you might not see people coming back.I certainly will not.
