Pearls - North Bay, Ontario P1B 2H3 (Northgate Shopping Centre)

I used to always shop at pearls in north gate until recently. About a month before Xmas I ordered a ring for my wife and they told me no problem. When we went in to pick it up, they didn't order the right size. We order a size 8.5 but what they ordered instead was a 7.5. Big difference there we were not very impressed and happy they said that they can reorder it but won't have it till after Xmas. What really upset us was the next response we got. First they told us that it happens quit a bit that they receive the wrong sizes. Well my opinion on this matter is being so close to Xmas, if this happens quite a bit, shouldn't you make sure you have the right size especially if it's a Xmas present? What really upset me is when the sales rep said next. We were told that they will reorder the ring but we can keep the wrong size as a display.REALLY??? A ring is made to wear not to be a display. Sorry Pearls you lost a frequent customer I am very disappointed I will no longer shop at Pearls. I recommend for anyone reading this we started shopping at People's jewellers which we did order a ring and only being a few days from Xmas. The staff at People's were so nice to us. Thanks to the staff at People's.
