Charged a 12 yr old for wash cut & blow dry but only did cut | by JD on May 30, 2019

They charged my 12 yr old son $20 for a wash, cut & blow dry when there was NO wash & blow dry. Why charge for the full service if you only did 1/3 of it? When my son showed me the receipt (he was there on his own & paid with his own money), I complained. They said "it is a standard charge" & "if you don't like it, go someplace else". When I said I will talk about it on social media, one of the barbers started raising his voice at me asking why I would do that. I started walking away and he continued shouting at me saying I wanted the haircut for free. So I went back & told them that my son gave a $7 tip so he doesn't want a free haircut. What bothered me was that they charged my son for services that he did not receive & that the old guy was rudely raising his voice at me. The lady at the counter said that she will tell her boss to change how they bill. I don't see how that will help my son. I admit that I showed my irritation when I complained. But I was REALLY bothered that my 12 yr old was charged FULL PRICE without receiving the full service he paid for. Especially since HE PAID FOR HIS OWN HAIRCUT with his OWN HARD EARNED MONEY from his newspaper delivery job. NEVER going back to this HORRIBLE place. I trusted them to be fair to my son & they took advantage of him.
