Markville Shopping Centre is a premier Cadillac Fairview shopping centre at 5000 Highway 7 East (at McCowan Road) in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The centre is with its 250,000 square feet of commercial space the second largest shopping centre in York area. Markville Shopping Centre was opened in 1982 and is owned and managed by Cadillac Fairview Corporation. The centre underwent $111-million renovation which started in the fall of 2011 and was completed in 2013. The renovation took inspiration from luxury shopping destinations around the world. The renovation included adding more than two dozen new high-end stores, a new food court in a new location, restaurants with outdoor patios, new retail corridor for shoppers to enjoy, interior with glass hand – railings, dramatic feature staircases, showcase fountain and exterior work such as new entranceways and signs, landscaping and parking lot poles.

Most of my favourite stores to shop at have closed and those replacing them I wouldn’t shop at. As a result, I have to shop at malls further away from my home. Very disappointed in the direction that Markville is taking!

The staff at Virgin Mobile,are very Rude.I just stopped to ask what time the Mall closes, one just pulled himself away from me and the other one said she don't know check the Board.They should not be working here.If they can't be polite. I am a senior citizen. Living in Markham before this Mall was built.

Zacks is a wonderful store to visit with staff who are very welcoming with an inviting smile and their clothes are very well displayed and organized and the back ground music is so relaxing I find I am in Europe shopping.The designer clothes are very in fashion and fits very well to size.Highly recommend this store and the excellent staff especially Sylvia she is extremely efficient.

I have been in Canada since 1983 and shopping at Markville Shopping Centre to present day,I enjoyed shopping very much and eating in restaurants after shopping with families & friends and have very good memories and the new stores that opened and how the mall continues to change has been so beautiful looking mall and the staff are very nice that one continues to return.

Markville Shopping Mall is located at a convenient location.It has been nicely renovated and is very clean. The washrooms are very clean and has a modern look and feel.The variety of stores allow for easy shopping experience without having to go too far to shopping areas such as Vaughan outlet mall.

I think the mall is great now. Lots of good stores and open on holidays but definetly needs a movie theater!!! Also will like AE to carry more jewlery like they do in Yorkdale Mall.
