Yesterday was my first (and last) attempt at using Burdock's. It's that time of year to get comforters dry cleaned. My cat enjoyed making it his bed over the summer months. I thought I'd give Burdock's a try as it's in my neighbourhood. There was no greeting initiated by the man behind the counter. He only spoke after I greeted him. He was surly. He did eventually say he'd be with me in a moment. When that moment finally arrived he looked at the comforter in my arms and said, "we don't do animal hair". I couldn't believe I heard that. He said he would clean it only after I "removed the hair". I said that was rather the point of a dry cleaner. Never would I recommend this stupid place. I trekked over to Orr's and they were lovely and had no issue with animal hair.
