Masonville Mall in London Ontario just completed a $100 million reno and left a huge black blight on its reputation. It has cancelled its "mall walk". They were gracious enough in the past to allow seniors and kids with special needs to walk in the mall during inclement weather. They did this without notification or provide a reason. The mall is now huge. It is even better than before to have seniors and other walk the mall before the stores open (usually 1 hour before when the mall is open for its employees). This is shameful corporate behavior. Cadillac Fairview should encourage mall walking for obvious reasons. Its action at Masonville is a black eye to the mall, its manager and the corporation. I implore Cadillac Fairview to reconsider its cancellation of the mall walk at Masonville. Uphold your corporate image and do the right thing. Do it now before the cold weather really sets in.
