My mother needed to buy an adjustable toilet seat bar set here to help her while she had an injury. She asked at the counter from the young man if the item would be returnable if when she got it home and her daughter ( me) looked at it saw that it would not fit on our toilet. This conversation went on as he processed the transaction...”um I am not sure let me go ask...” , Superviser from across the store “ NO”, “No Returns at all on those items”. Meanwhile, transaction has processed. Supervisor again “ those fit all toilets anyway”. Well, this is her daughter...it is generally considered illegal to take someone’s money without laying out the terms of the transaction policy First. Second it is just bad form to do this to the elderly, and/or already disabled individual that your store is serving. Yes I realize this is a product related to toilets and hygienic reasons likely prevent you from refunding, but as I said this should have been made clear before purchase!! Finally the product most certainty dose not fit on all toilets, the screw holes for the toilet seat are too far forward on our toilet for this product to fit and then be able to reapply a toilet seat...it is simply impossible. There would be no way too know this without trying to first instal it. Not cool Shoppers Home HealthCare. Bilk some senior needing assistance out of $70+ . Makes me wonder how many other people on fixed incomes you do this to each week?
