I must say......the Argyle Penningtons is NOT the Penningtons we've come to love and appreciate. I thought ....maybe......the first bad experience I had there was "just a bad day" for the employee, and was able to put it behind me to try the store again. However......Saturday June 10/17 showed me that this is the norm for that store. There was NO friendly greeting as you entered......like in other Penningtons.......neither was there ANY offer of help.....or telling you what the specials were etc. I did try once to get an associate to help me, but she was too busy laughing with another associate and as I approached.....she walked away. I waited till she stopped.....and then walked toward her again with ....what I assume....was an inquiring look on my face......only to have her look at me, and then walk away again. While this is the closest Penningtons to us, I will not be shopping there again. 2 bad experiences have made me realize this store isn't run like the others. In the first bad experience I had a very rude remark made to me by the associate that was there.......so......Penningtons.....you better look into this, or you'll be losing other customers.
