Extremely poor customer interaction from an employee. Very unhelpful and unprofessional. It is sad that such characters are called on to help facilitate transactions

I had the worst customer service earlier today with my gf. We couldn't use the self check-out because we needed to use our status card. We went directly to the cashier because there was nobody lined up. When we got to the cashier, she yelled at us and said she didn't call us over. We apologized and moved back. The two cashiers walked away and shouted to use the self check. I explained the reason we needed the checkout and she apologized and offered to help. I declined because the other cashier kept insulting us under her breath. I understand stressful times but get another job if you can't deal with the public.

I would rate this store 0 if it were possible. A woman working there followed me around the store and decided to accuse me of stealing "because I put something down." She asked if I put something in my bag. I told her I did not. She then insisted that she check my bags. Dollarama employees are not - I repeat NOT allowed to harass customers in this way. This is discriminatory and wholly unprofessional. I am disappointed in Dollarama- a franchise that appears to support racism and discrimination of its patrons because this is sadly not an isolated incident in hamilton. Shop at your own risk.
