Terrible customer service! Period!
Best grocery store | by Tracey Murray on Jan 26, 2021
Been shopping there since it opened and since COVID has hit the world they have maintained a clean sanitized store with safety protocols in place. So much better than other stores in the area. Keep up the great work and thank you for going to work every day so we can keep feeding our families. Most of all please stay safe. Thank you again!
Very disappointed | by Susan on Nov 19, 2020
When the virus started I was very impressed with how this store was keeping the carts and check out belts and debit machines sanitized and the clerks all wore protective masks. The carts no longer needed a coin to take one and they had a girl stationed with them cleaning them as they were returned. Yesterday Nov.18th 2020 I was disappointed to see that they no longer are cleaning the carts as they are brought back and attached once again needing a coin. There was a man inside the door with a bucket just standing in the corner not approaching the customer coming in to clean the cart. Not sure what he was there for as he was not cleaning anyone's cart upon entering the store. Not one of the people working there had face masks on especially the cashiers and no check out belts were being wiped down to sanitize them nor was the debit machine. I was not even finished using the debit machine and packing my groceries into bags and the next customer was standing beside me. Makes me think no wonder the covid cases are rising in Cambridge Waterloo area. Wake up people and especially No Frills and get back to keeping everyone as safe as you can while grocery shopping. I won't be coming back to your store unless you do. I'm sure many people are thinking the same thing after going in your store .
Shopper Beware | by C. Ryan on Apr 20, 2020
Went there yesterday for a bottle of barbecue sauce so I didn't need a cart or so I thought, see there was this lady in front of me and she had a cart now yes we knew eachother but that's not the point the point is the guy disinfecting the carts decided to say you know I can't let you both in one of you will have to wait in your car or outside so I say neither of us have a car and we aren't together he says I know you're in a group the same family or household so I point out the sign that says whenever possible only one customer per household nowhere does it say this applies only to the elderly or disabled (I have a mental disability so it isn't obvious I try to avoid shopping on my own because of it) and he says that's just for the elderly and disabled so the Lady in front of me says if she gets a cart can she come in he says yes so I say I'm only getting one thing but I'll go get a cart I don't need. The employee decides to go to his manager and lie saying I swore at him when I know I didn't so the manager comes out yelling swear at my employees again and I'm calling the cops so I decided to leave was the first time I've been reduced to tears at a supermarket I'll be doing my best to shop elsewhere in future. I've worked retail so I know you're not supposed to have an attitude with customers and fair warning to others many of their new employees do especially now.
