We were waiting outside the store for our turn to be served. While waiting I was surprised by the actions of the manager. Or so she identified herself to be. They were serving a customer. And it was clear to see that she and the manager were in a disagreement. Although nothing I saw warranted the response from the manager. I was completely appalled by her actions. She began to instigate and encourage an argument with the customer as she was preparing to leave. “Don’t shake your head at me!” (mean girl mentality). This is what SoftMoc instills in their staff!? Modeling such exemplary professionalism ought to be recognized.

Absoutely had such an amazing time here, not my first and not my last, alot of my family shop here and friends of mine to. Their great with everyone, and even during this time of covid, I understand their procedure and some people need to realize their their just to simply do their job. Their probably just as scared, the management is always helpful and FULL of knowledge, always willing to go out of their way to help you. Great job keep it up

my grandfather and I had went in the day before Christmas Eve and was looking for a pair 11 EURO blundstone boot. The young lady, who was the manager, had brought out a wrong size. my grandfather had told her they were the wrong size. she got upset and told him about the EURO sizes, again that he understands, and was very ignorant. we had no problem waiting. she had went into the back hoping to find the right size. A young lady had asked my grandfather if he had been helped while he told her yes but he also asked her for the size of the boot. she went into the back and its very easy to hear their conversation. the young lady had told her manager if she was looking for the boot for the older man and all of a sudden she had got very nasty with her employee and told her that she "already fucking told him it was the right size" excuse my language but I am sorry. Those are the words I heard. she came out and grabbed the box of shoes fiercely and went into the back. we had heard a bang and "im going to call security" and my grandfather had actually apologized. I am not someone to get nasty with another, especially when it is almost Christmas but please do not treat people like this at ANY WORK PLACE..!!!! i felt very sorry for the young girl who indeed helped us at the end of it all. and was very patient and nice.

I went in looking for hunter socks yesterday afternoon and when I finally found a pair in medium I thought I’d better try it on just to make sure it would fit my foot and into my boot. I asked both sales women (which didn’t look happy about life or to help me) if they had another colour in medium the one said let me check in back, the other looked at me rudely and said just so you know for next time you can’t try on the socks my response was how can I buy something if I don’t know the size as she rudely answered you know by your boot size. Well lady maybe for you yes but what if I bought a bigger size boots but wanted my actual size sock. I informed her I wasn’t the only person who had tried on the sock her words back to me well that’s cause I didn’t catch them wow lady. Anyways I turned to my friend and said let’s go annoyed at what just happened. I went to walking on the cloud and the lady was super friendly and aloud me to try on the sock :) so I bought it there. Never going to softmoc again in Cambridge super rude staff which isn’t the first time. If you’re looking for hunter socks go to walking on a cloud like I did, great service and with a warm smile.
