Overcharging | by Sandra on Sep 24, 2020
I purchased several items including 1 packet of barrettes from Michaels Appleby Line. When I was right there at the cashier, I did not tally the items with the receipt as I was too distracted. Today, I went through my purchases and I noticed that I was charged twice for 1 packet of barrettes. This charging double for one item has happened a few times before at this store but I had managed to nip the problem by telling the cashier there and then and they could see that I had not remove any items and pocketed them. Well, this time, it is too late because I had already brought the items out of the store and they could easily say that I pocketed 1 packet. I am very disappointment that this overcharging is happening much too often. A word to the wise---check your receipt right at the cashier as this could be happening to you as well.
