Curbside pickup needed yesterday | by Rick Swinamer on May 17, 2020
Cannot believe you could make buying liquor this difficult. My wife and I are trying to keep ourselves safe by isolating. We buy our groceries with curbside pickup at Superstore or online. We avoid going in stores completely. Now we have to restock our liquor and find out we have to enter a store? This is ridiculous. You are a government monopoly that is not even trying to provide the safest way to shop. Come on, get with it. No amount of cleaning can guarantee safety for your clients. This is a very unfair business practice that endangers the health of both your staff and clients.
Condescending, overpaid Staff | by Ron I on Apr 24, 2020
NSLC has always seemed condescending and lazy toward its customers, but during the Covid-19 crisis they really dropped the ball. They make you line up outside while multiple staff stand around you in the store doing nothing. No curbside pickup is just ridiculous. Get your act together, please.

Please provide curbside pick up during the pandemic. Many other stores are doing this.
NSLC Practices during COVID | by Alex Herman on Mar 27, 2020
I believe NSLC has completely misunderstood it's responsibilities during this COVID crisis. While it is reducing its hours to protect it's employees - it does not appear to be trying to protect its own customers. Curbside pickup is becoming a commonplace practice for many stores in NS - providing additional protection for its customers. In Bridgewater near my home - Superstore (all locations) has online shopping and parking lot pickup. Canadian Tire provides online purchasing and enables you to arrange a curbside pickup. Gow's Home Hardware provides over-the-phone purchasing using your credit card and will arrange curbside pickup. I called NSLC on Friday (27th) at both Bridgewater & Liverpool locations. Bridgewater was in shock that I suggested my purchase could be brought out to my car and when I relayed that other stores were providing over-the-phone payment - I was told that I could not give my card & PIN number over the phone for security reasons. I replied that I do it all the time to stores/companies I trust. My only option - I guess- is to come into the NSLC store and mingle. NSLC needs to become more educated on how other stores are providing services in these times of COVID and reach out to its customers with appropriate services. KUDOS to the other stores who are doing so!
