After 33 years, our tired home needed a facelift starting with the kitchen and bathroom. We had chosen another company who could also provide carpentry services for the creation of a wall to close in our kitchen and to enlarge the bathroom. As the installation progressed, it was discovered that the cabinetry, though expensive, was of poor quality and after 8 long, agonizing months the kitchen project was not complete so the decision was made to end further construction and to arrange for the kitchen to be taken out. This prompted a search for a reliable and competent kitchen supplier and we found that through Mike's Country Kitchens in Bayer's Lake. From the moment we walked through the door and was greeted by Susan Chaisson, we knew in our hearts that here is someone who genuinely cares and she listened intently as we poured our hearts out to her. When our next decision was made to entrust our renovation project through Mike's Country Kitchens (MCK), Susan arranged for us to meet with their kitchen designer, Maria Penney . Maria's warm and friendly personality and endless supply of much needed hugs helped to heal our broken hearts and the positivity that radiated from her while she busied herself with measuring, calculating and taking notes and pictures put our tired minds at ease and we have been so very grateful to have Maria in our lives. Without a doubt, everyone from MCK involved in our renovation project has made the transition from the nightmare we endured for so long into a feeling of hope and stress-free! Our gratitude filters down from Susan and Maria to the wonderful installers who transformed our empty space into one of beauty. I apologize for not listing their names but their attention to detail cannot be overlooked. The last installation was the quartz countertops from Jade Stone and we can't say enough good about it from start to finish. All staff were helpful from Beth Anne who answered our calls and questions to the gentleman who took laser measurements to the highly skilled installers and again, I apologize for not providing names for each one involved. MCK not only restored our kitchen but also restored our faith in mankind reminding us that there are highly competent individuals who truly care such as those at Mike's Country Kitchens.
