For the flagship joint store, this opening was a major disappointment. The store has very little stock or choices. My impression after leaving the store was that it looked like one of those cheap warehouse type stores, with no rhyme nor reason to the layout or stock. It's like someone bought a bunch of sealed containers at an auction, without knowing the contents, and then tossed the contents on the shelves everywhere.

Dartmouth Crossing location clearly bears the Cabela's / Bass Pro / Tracker Boats banners so one would believe that there would be no issue(s) in redeeming a Cabela's gift card; not so. My sister, who lives an hour out of town, visited the store on October 4, 2018, and after making a selection, presented her card towards purchase payment: could not redeem the card at the station - card would have to be used to buy a Bass Pro card because 'this isn't a Cabela's store, we're Bass Pro': she was surprised; I was irritated. Because the attendant could not get a timely response from a member of the customer service team to facilitate the exchange, and with a building line up, she paid for the purchase instead of holding up the line. I attempted to get a customer comment card at the customer service desk and ended up with a phone number scrawled on a sticky note page: this company - definitely this location - needs to review a number of the practices that are in place: I will never gift another card associated with this company.

Whoever is responsible for the move from NB. To NS. Should have known that the first hybrid store in the world should have been big enough to accommodate both. There are a lot of disappointment and resentment comming from the customers of both these stores. Very poor decision making on this. The store has lost a valuable home base Clientele, big mistake.

Postponed for unknown reasons, my personal thoughts are that they are waiting to see if the new gun registry will pass, and it is very close to doing so! More Canadians out of promising jobs!

This store has never opened and there is no word on when it will, if ever. I highly doubt the opening will ever come.
