I bought two rolls of Almond paste and when I got home cut a thin slice off to eat and it was horrible, no Almond taste or flavour just plain sugar taste, when I went to return it, he would not refund me for the one that I cut and was very rude and said, well,"Almond paste is supposed to taste like this and its a Seasonal item. Please get back to me. Thank you. I do have the receipt and his name and cashier number. Makes me sad.

Nuts such as filberts/hazelnut spoiled and old! Walnuts (without shell) very old... smelly!!! Unhealthy! Other nuts and figs that I bought there, also not so fresh. Even service is not so great as it used to be - there has been nice women in this store not as far away as August.- now it seems, client is treated as a nuisance, even if there is not much traffic in the store. But the main point is freshness of food. Even best of the discounts won't get me to the store when the food is not fresh. Because of that, I think, it is a time to look for a different source... Thank you
