The Tommy Guns business model doesn’t work for me. I get my hair cut every three weeks and like to wear it a specific way. I went to the same stylist for 17 years before she moved on. I knew exactly when my appointments were and had confidence in her skills and abilities. I received an awesome haircut from Kim at Tommy Guns, and she told me that I could request her online the next time I wanted to come in. I went online, reserved a spot with her, and when I got there, she was with someone else. I spent my entire lunch break waiting for a haircut that I never received because the reservation system is pointless. I’m not going to stand around the mall for an indefinite amount of time because Tommy Guns won’t take appointments. Nice for them that they can turn over customers quickly, but I’ve got better things to do with my time than play a guessing game about whether they’ll get me in or not. There are literally thousands of hair stylists in this city that take appointments, so I’m not going to waste my time with this shop’s nonsense.
