Very bad service

I purchased a sweater for my daughter for her birthday, which I bought while Christmas shopping as her birthday is January 5th. It did not fit and she wanted to return it. We went to the store tonight (January 11) and staff refused service as receipt said up to January 6. I was not advised this upon purchase and although receipt shows the 6th my daughters birthday was the 5th and we were not given the time to return. The sales person was rude and would not make an exception. It was extremely disappointing. Sharon F.
